General Information about the Wiki
Dear Miebachians,
the ticketing system, in addition to creating and editing tickets, also provides the option to run a wiki.
As part of the expansion and improvement of our IT services, we will be taking a closer look at this system and documenting and storing the most important topics related to daily work that could affect all employees.
We will try to organize the topics systematically by category. Therefore, some topics may logically fit into several categories. However, since this would mean updating the entries twice, the data will only be stored once in the category we deem most appropriate. You can simply use the search function and, for example, search for 2FA or Intune to see all relevant topics / articles.
Currently, we already have a OneNote wiki for all German colleagues, which you can access via the following link Notizbuch für IT Live (Webansicht) and a OneNote wiki for all international colleagues, which you can access via this link MCG IT Center Wiki (Webansicht) . Some areas are not accessible to all users, as there are also areas that are only accessible to the administrators at the respective locations.
We recommend opening or linking to the respective OneNote via the Teams channel in the OneNote desktop app, as this allows you to use the full-text search within OneNote to search for existing articles/topics/etc.
We will continuously work on making all information visible to everyone in a suitable location and will create new entries whenever time permits. So please bear with us, as there are currently three places where you can find information. We also don't yet know if this wiki system is the most suitable system and will need to test it first. If this system is deemed suitable, we will begin migrating all information and existing articles to it.
